Pigfish is Val Lockhart:  crazy mom, wife, freelance writer, and gardener striving to "live a life of love" Ephesians 5:1-2   You'll find her writing style to be somewhere between Erma Bombeck and the Gilmore Girls with a generous dose of Veggietales.  Whether or not it's any good...well...you decide.

Pigfish lives in the midwest with her husband of 25 years, their two teenage children, a dog, two cats and two annoying fish who just won't die.  [Update: one fish down, one to go]  She writes...

"Numerous teenagers invade our home and we wouldn't have it any other way.  Jesus, gardening and occasional solitude help keep me sane and focussed.

I love to read and am truly enjoying the community of writers that is HubPages.  I especially enjoy learning about artists of all kinds:  fellow writers, creators, dreamers of dreams.  I am fascinated by the creative process.  As Einstein said, 'Imagination is more important than knowledge.'

Despite my perkiness and my faith, I am skeptically optimistic...an optimistic skeptic.

Drop me a line and I will be happy to do the same."
